धृष्टि॑रसि॒ ब्रह्म॑ य॒च्छ।

Bold art thou, support our prayer.

अपा॑ग्ने॒ ऽग्निमा॒मादं॑ जहि॒ निष्क॒व्याद॑ से॒धाऽऽ दे॑व॒यजं॑ वह॒

O Agni, drive off the fire that eats raw flesh, send away the Corpse-eating one, bring hither the fire that sacrifices to the Gods.

निर्द॑ग्ध॒ रक्षो॒ निर्द॑ग्धा॒ अरा॑तयः।

The raksas is burnt, the evil spirits are burnt.

ध्रु॒वम॑सि पृथि॒वीं दृहाऽऽयु॑र्दृह प्र॒जां दृह सजा॒तान॒स्मै यज॑मानाय॒ पर्यू॑ह

Thou art firm, make firm the earth, make life firm, make offspring firm, make his fellows subordinates to the sacrificer.

धर्त्रम॑स्य॒न्तरि॑क्षं हह प्रा॒णं दृहापानं दृह सजा॒तान॒स्मै यज॑मानाय॒ पर्यू॑ह

Thou art a supporter, make firm the atmosphere, make expiration firm, make inspiration firm, make his fellows subordinate to this sacrifice.

ध॒रुण॑मसि॒ दिवं॑ दृह॒ चक्षुः॥

Thou are supporting, make the heaven firm, make the eye
